Short answer

A typical small business software stack, one tool for each of ten jobs, costs about $253 a month at published prices as of September 2026, before card processing. That is roughly $3,036 a year, paid before the first sale. The same ten jobs can run for $0 to $29 a month on a single system.

Fees on top

Every checkout adds card processing, usually around 3% plus a fixed few cents per sale. Some website builders add their own transaction fee on lower plans as well. Fraya charges 1% on sales in addition to Stripe’s processing, and nothing when nothing sells.

What $253 means at $1,000 a month

A business doing $1,000 a month in sales that pays $253 for its tools spends about 25% of revenue on software before materials, shipping, or its own time. At $5,000 a month the same stack is 5.1%. The stack does not get cheaper as you start; it gets cheaper only as you grow, and most of it is paid during the months when nothing has sold yet.

How Fraya prices the same ten jobs

  • Free: publish, sell, book, collect reviews, one campaign a month, legal pages. $0 a month, 1% on sales.
  • Fraya Plan: everything above plus the weekly operator work, unlimited campaigns, cart recovery, a custom domain, and 100 studio credits. $29 a month.
  • Fraya Studio: the same plan with 1,000 credits a cycle for heavy image and video work. $99 a month.

Fraya grows when you grow. The 1% is the only cost that scales with sales.

The honest caveats

  • Specialist tools are deeper in their one job. If email is your whole business, a dedicated email platform may earn its price.
  • Published prices move, and most vendors discount annual billing. Treat the receipt as a snapshot, not a contract.
  • Free tiers exist for several of these tools, with limits that tend to arrive right when the business starts working.

Straight answers.

Are these the cheapest plans available?

No. They are the entry or standard tiers a small business typically lands on, at published monthly prices as of September 2026. Cheaper tiers exist for some tools with limits on contacts, products, or features.

Does Fraya charge transaction fees?

Fraya charges 1% on sales made through your site, taken automatically, with the rest paid to your own Stripe account. Stripe’s card processing applies separately, as it does on every platform.

Can I cancel the Fraya Plan and keep my site?

Yes. Cancel anytime and the site, customers, orders, and data stay on the free plan.
